The Italian Province of Vicenza is renowned internationally for the processing of ceramics, dwhere theancient dexterity of master potters, it was handed down to the new generations. Strictly respecting the production phases of majolica as was done in the past.
It starts from the glue that is poured into the molds once the piece dries, the mold is removed and a long process begins:
1) The first fire at 1015 ° C
2) The glazing, the object is submerged in the glaze which is absorbed by the ceramic.
3) The second fire at 980 ° C, and here MAJOLICA comes out.
4) The decoration e the third fire at 820 ° C
5) The fourth fire at 720 ° C it is applied to all objects decorated with 24 carat gold leaf, platinum leaf, with a luster and satin ones.
Each fire from start to cool is a long 16 hour process.
