Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920), is one of the most important Italian artists of the twentieth century.
Painter and sculptor, Modigliani is considered the icon ofcursed romantic artist: handsome, brilliant, poor and passionate.
At the age of twenty-two (in 1906) he moved to Paris to live in an artists’ commune of Montmartre, at the time the beating heart of the avant-garde.
