Parastone it was originally part of the renowned ‘Borzo’ art dealership, founded in 1880. company specializing in the restoration of mainly ecclesiastical works of art.
As more and more sculptures were produced according to their own design, in 1963 it was decided to create Parastone as an independent company.
For almost 50 years Parastone has been successfully designing decorative sculptures, partly of a timeless classic beauty, partly in line with prevailing trends.
The museum’s collection of images under the name “Mouseion” is an important part of the collection. In addition to true copies of important works of art, Mouseion also consists of three-dimensional interpretations of paintings and drawings by many artists, ranging from Hieronymus Bosch to Salvador Dali.
Also present in the collection are reproductions of drawings by Albert Dubout, Guillermo Forchino, Jacky Zegers and other artists.
The production takes place in the Hertohenbosch workshop in the Netherlands by the hand of skilled craftsmen.
The items are mostly made of marble resin and poly resin, resistant and unalterable materials over time that allow you to create reproductions of works of art by increasing the work of the craftsman at a cost within everyone’s reach.
